Dear DIEry, as good as any I suppose to start. Like any good Star Wars novel, I guess we start near the end (hopefully not too close) and go back to the beginnings at some point.

Last night I was diagnosed with having suffered a mild ischemic stroke just a day earlier. It started in the morning as getting out of bed with a bad headache trying to get to the bathroom to pee and falling twice along the way. At first I just attributed it as getting up too quickly and not getting my bearings from a dream, but as the day went on, these attacks kept coming in frequency.

Later, I attributed the continuance of these attacks as having caught a Flu bug and attempted to get some rest throughout the day. As these attacks failed to stop, I finally noticed patterns at which they arrived. Certain body movements involving the head and neck especially in a horizontal position would trip this off. I still dismissed it as a bad fever and attempted to rest more and feed myself some pain killers.

By evening, I realized that this was no fever and started to consult "doctors online" and other such medical reference as I do not have the means to go to a doctor as normal people would. The results came back to me with something more than I would like to have heard, but we take our news and move on as being depressed or angry about it serves little purpose or remedy.
