Dear DIEry; wasn't the Green Meanie a character in the Beatles Yellow Submarines? In life there will be those who doubt you, but always wish you well. Who support you, so one day you may support them back. Who envy you and would love to see you fail (these are the Green Meanies) and a host of other types of people.
Though most people will generally ignore you and sometimes watch you play, participate in small ways here and there, the Green Meanies are the ones who are out to get you. The one's who once you enter their range of play will not only want to be one up on you, but will want you to suffer failure to double their pleasure. These people come in various degrees and some will be in your friends and family. The Green Meanies can bring you down in two ways. They can attack or sabotage your efforts directly or indirectly, or they can turn you into one of them and they will win in replication (extra bonus points here, game over!).
You cannot control the world of people around you, but you can control yourself, make better choices, and not become a Green Meanie. Attitude is power, perception is knowledge and karma is an entity of vengeance. Keep in good steps and vengeance will be yours in success. So what else matters beyond that?
